Bhakta prahlada is the 1st movie in Telugu film industry, it was released on February 6th, 1932
. By this Telugu film has completed 84years and entered into 85th year. Bhakta prahalada was made on a budget of 18,000 rupees and shot in 18days. It was first released at Krishna theater, Bombay and 2weeks later was released in Andhra at Maruti theater, Vijayawada and Sri Krishna theater, Rajahmundry. Kesavadasu, a famous poet remains as 1st lyricist in TFI by penning a song for it.
